To harness a previous emotional state that influences your present state.
According to the novel, The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle, a pain body is emotional pain from the pass that is carried with you into the present. It can stay dormant or active. Dormancy can develop into activity depending on certain triggers or situations. Sometimes we allow our pain body/s to guide our present mental and physical state. I slowly have been acknowledging my pain bodies and learning how not to fall into the same reactive pattern. There is no step by step manual on how to overcome them. We just have to grasp the idea of identifying them and as Tolle likes to say, "become the silent watcher and smile at those thoughts". I am currently half-way through the novel and felt compelled to briefly share this particular section. It allowed me to understand my "life situations" and view them in way that does not affect me. Lets rekindle the connection with our Being and live in the Now.
